COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 Response

(Updated November 25, 2020)

As a church, we want to respond to this crisis with compassion for one another, especially for those who are most vulnerable to this new disease.

We want to be good citizens, taking to heart the instructions of Romans 13; and we want to respect the unique needs, conditions, and situations of everyone, taking to heart Jesus’ admonitions against legalistic attitudes.

Therefore, I ask that individuals and families entering the facilities of the Holland Free Methodist Church be personally accountable to the state of Ohio regarding safety measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These safety measures, as they continue to be updated, can be found at: https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/

If you are currently sick with COVID-19 like symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, please remain at home for the CDC recommended period of time.

If you are in a high risk category for serious illness from COVID-19, please remain at home for now.

If you are unwilling to wear a mask or follow socially distancing guidelines, please do not attend the worship service at this time.
