our mission

We endeavor to provide organized information by:

  1. Networking parents of children of Dyslexia with one another.
  2. By networking parents with trained professionals
  3. By providing contact information of resources in NWO on one site.

It is our hope to assist parents in a timely manner, with viable, workable solutions that will help their child and teachers move toward successful adaptations in their child’s academic world;

What's Coming Up

As of September we will reconvene with a full schedule of new speakers.  We are excited by the quality of information that is going to be available.

In September:
A Dyslexia Simulation provided by Northern Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. (NOB/IDA.)

Experience what is a difficult, daily challenge for some people through six activities involving language.  (Dyslexia is 95% of identified learning disabilities of students.)

This is program is not presented very often in this area and we have been privileged to have them come to Holland.

Registration and a nominal fee is required for this one, it is well worth it!   Invite family members, and teachers to come.  This will be the rare time when people can gain a small window of understanding on just what your child goes through on a daily basis. (there will be a mailing go out to alert you when registration opens up for this
