SUNDAY MORNING If Lucas County is under a LEVEL THREE snow emergency then all services and events at the church will be canceled. If conditions are bad but there is not a level three snow emergency you should only attend if you believe it is safe enough to travel. Sheri LaFontaine and members of her family will be in concert here at Holland Free Methodist on Saturday, December 17th, at 7:00 pm. There are no tickets for this event. A free will offering will be taken. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Cookies will be served following the program.

There will be a special ladies’ Christmas luncheon on December 3rd at noon. Contact the church office for more details.

Children of all ages are invited to a community harvest party on Saturday, October 29th, from noon to 2:00 pm. This will take place outdoors on the west lawn and will include games, food, prizes, and candy.

The youth group begins meeting on Wednesday evenings September 7th at 7:00 pm. This is for students in grade 7-12. They will gather every Wednesday unless otherwise noted.

The Christian Life Club for children begins on Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00 pm. This is a midweek club for children ages preschool through 6th grade. The program uses the “Roots” curriculum to teach children about the Bible and following Jesus. The club will meet every Wednesday (unless otherwise noted). We hope to see you there!

On Sunday, August 28th, the morning worship service will be outside on the south lawn behind the church. We will gather at the regular time (10:40 am) and the service will include a special time of baptism. There will be a picnic lunch served to everyone following the service. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

The annual Holland/Springfield community worship service will take place August 14th at 10:30 am at Strawberry Acres Park next to the Holland Branch Library. The Family Fun Fest is an outdoor event open to the entire community. There will be free food, bouncy houses, and games. Come and enjoy a summer evening at Holland Free Methodist. Friday, June 24th, from 5:30-8:30 pm.

Children ages four through finishing sixth grade are invited to Vacation Bible School June 20-24. There is a free dinner each evening for the children at 5:30 pm. The program begins at 6:15 pm, and continues until 8:30 pm. The theme this year is Paul and the underground church. Contact the church office for more information.
